Make each and every day count.

Today cancer claimed another person. The mother of my niece and nephew.

Breast cancer. She beat it once but it made an unwelcome return.

She was 49.

She died in the same hospice my Dad did and her children are just a little younger than I was when I lost my own Dad.

My heart goes out to them. They’ve endured the years, months and weeks of stress that caring for someone with cancer brings.

There was absolutely nothing my ex sister in law could of done to prevent her cancer, nor anything more she could of done to try and cure her from it.

She was immensely proud of her children and rightly so. They were her world.

Last night her friends completed a midnight walk raising over £1000 for the hospice. I truly believe she waiting for them to get home safe before she let go.

RIP Lisa. xxx
